There are thousands of directories and 98% of them are worthless. Google recently banned dozens of low quality directories sites from their index.

It's not good if most of the incoming links to your website are from web directories.

Is it really true that low level web directories are nearly worthless ?

Then there is no point in submitting anymore! But i can agree google had to do something about it, cause there's literally 100's of new web directories being born every single day. The web directory world is starting to get saturated.
