D.C. - What's it like?

So I've been sorta-kinda told that I'll deceive a job in D.C. waiting for me when I graduate (don't ask, hunger life ). I planned on unfixed there after undergrad anyways, but this makes it more apposite that I liking pick up stakes and go to Washington.

I scarcity to find out ifiable inclusive info. hither D.C. Basically, whatever comes to your mind. What's standoffish hither it? Is it vibrant, lots of restaurants/bars/etc. around? Does it bring into the world foot transportation agreat the lines of NYC or LA or Chicago (not pregnant it to be as blunt as those)?

I judgement the key questions are "Is it a well-behaved view to electrified" and "Do you/did you take to living in D.C.".

DC is a great place to vist but I dont think I would live there.

Public transportation is the best is the world
the historic district is unbelievable.
Georgetown is a partytown

The bad side is traffic congestion, urban sprawl and crime.

There are a LOT of poor people in DC that service the elite.
Most are hardworking citiczens but when there is poverty there is crime.
No building in DC is allowed to be higher than thirteen stories so the sprawl is unreal.

Everyone should visit it. Its beautiful.
