I have several virtual instrument music software packages that I run on XP.

Do you think that I'm correct in assuming that all major software companies will support their products being run on Vista?

If the programs are any good they should have VISTA support by now, atleast eventually.

Which music programs are you running on your computer?

I run Cubase SX, which is from 2002.

I also run some virtual instruments including Minimoog V, Garritan Personal Orchestra 2, Native Instruments B4, and some very playable free demos like Analog Factory, Sonik Synth and a Jupiter 8 plugin.

The only program I recognise is cubase and I looked it up on their website and it seems cubase is VISTA supported.

Thanks very much for looking up the website. I've since also spoken to my music guru guy at the music store, and he's confident that Vista will be supported by these "major" music software companies.

He also suggests that XP will continue to be supported for some time to come, too.
